Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo Review

I received NYM's Dry Shampoo complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. I've used dry shampoos before and they leave my hair with a white residue. NYM's did the same thing so maybe I'm not using them correctly. I love the idea of dry shampoo, especially when my hair is greasy and I'm running late. I'm hoping to continue using NYM's dry shampoo and maybe with practice, it will work out better for me!

Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads Review

I received +Cutex Brands Nail Polish Remover Pads complimentary from +Influenster for testing purposes. I wouldn't typically buy these from the store, so I'm glad I was able to test them out for free! I will say that these polish remover pads are super convenient and remove polish with ease. Like other nail polish remover, it does dry your nails out. Although I love this product, I'm not convinced that the price is worth the convenience and I would much rather use $1 nail polish remover and cotton balls. If someone bought these for me as a gift, I would gladly use them though. =) #SoCutex #HealthyNails #contest

Gillette Venus Swirl Razor & Shave Gel #ChooseToSmooth

I've tried Gillette Venus products before and I am always impressed by the quality! This time, I tried Gillette Venus's Swirl Razor and Shave Gel complimentary from Influenster to test. The Swirl Razor contours perfectly to your skin, leaving it feeling smooth and silky. I #choosetosmooth by saying goodbye to razor burn when I use the Swirl razor combined with the shave gel! I typically use disposable razors and I have to say, Gillette Venus razors and blades are much better than their generic counterparts.

Glam Vox Box

I received my #GlamVoxBox complimentary from Influenster and LOVE the products in the box. My box contained:
- Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo
- Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads
- Gillette Venus Swirl Razor and Shave Gel
- Q-Tips Travel Pack
- Shea Moisture Facial Wash, Anti-Aging Moisturizer and Anti-Aging Facial Mask

Out of all the products I received, I think my favorite is the Venus Swirl Razor. It contours to your skin for a more even, close shave! I've previously tried Q-Tips travel pack and it's perfect for vacations and on-the-go. Cutex's Nail Polish Remover Pads are a convenient way to remove your nail polish, but I'm not sure that they're worth the money; I think I'd rather use cotton balls and nail polish remover. I've never heard of Shea Moisture before and I love the facial wash! It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. NYM's Dry Shampoo is a life-saver when you're in a hurry.

XO Vox Box

I recently received the XO Vox Box from Influenster.  I couldn't wait to get it in and see what was inside (even though I already saw on Instagram). Inside my box, I received Tide PODS with Febreze, a Colgate Optic White toothbrush and toothpaste, John Frieda Beach Blonde collection, John Frieda 7 Day Volume, SkinFix hand cream, and a Lands' End coupon code. I'm glad I got the Beach Blonde shampoo, conditioner, and sea salt spray from John Frieda. The other option was Frizz-Ease and I already have greasy hair as it is.

Before I actually got my XO Vox Box, Influenster sent a coupon code for free lingerie set from Adore Me if you signed up for their VIP membership (which doesn't cost you anything AND their sets are cheaper!). They have so many cute sets to choose from - it was difficult! After I ordered mine, I realized they even have swimsuits!!! Once it gets closer to summer, I might take another look... :)

I absolutely LOVE the Colgate Optic White toothbrush because it comes with a built-in whitening pen. It's so easy to use and way more convenient than using whitening strips because you just apply it and go - no rinsing! The Optic White toothpaste is okay - it's not the greatest tasting. I definitely still prefer my regular toothpaste - Crest 3D White.

I've tried the Beach Blonde shampoo and conditioner. It has a minty smell, which I love. I haven't tried the 7 Day Volume hair treatment, but I hope it can do something with my extremely flat, boring hair. I'm waiting until it gets warmer to try the Beach Blonde sea salt spray.
I tested the Tide PODS, which are very convenient, but I think I'll stick to regular laundry detergent. I had to use two pods because my load was large, and even after using two, none of my clothes smelled like the detergent. When I pour regular detergent, my clothes always smell like whatever scent I used. The Tide PODS may be convenient because you don't have to pour or measure detergent, but I think liquid detergent leaves clothes smelling better, longer.

The SkinFix hand cream is probably my least favorite part of this box. I tried it once and it made my hands feel extremely greasy. Also, it is fragrance-free for people who have eczema and sensitive skin, but it smells awful. I think I'll stick to my Vaseline lotion.

Tide PODS Plus Febreze

I received a 10-pack sample of Tide PODS Plus Febreze complimentary from Influenster for testing & review purposes.  While I love the convenience of Tide PODS, I would rather use regular liquid laundry detergent.  If you are washing a small load of clothes, one pod will suffice.  However, if you are washing a larger load, you need to use two pods.  In my opinion, pouring a cup of laundry detergent is just as easy as using Tide PODS.  I think Tide PODS are catered more towards college students, who would benefit  more from the convenience of the packaging.

Additionally, I was disappointed in the scent quality of these particular Tide PODS. I used two because I had a larger load and none of my clothes smelled like the Febreze scent after washing. I've used Tide liquid laundry detergent and I think it provides a longer lasting scent for your clothes.

Influenster Venus® Snap with Embrace Review

I received the Gillette Venus Snap Razor with Embrace complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. My first impression was, "Oh, look how cute!" The Venus Snap razor is tiny and compact - perfect for on-the-go. However, for me, the price is not worth the product. It's $9.47 at Walmart.

My daily and traveling razors are disposable razors. In my opinion, they're just as costly as razors with replaceable blades. They also provide an equally close shave. If I hadn't received the Venus Snap razor for free from Influenster, I doubt I would have bought it on my own.

The Venus Snap razor provides a close shave, without needing to use shave gel. It comes in a carrying case that has holes so it dries out easily. Overall, if you're looking for a more compact razor, this one is for you. If you use disposables for traveling, I would stick with those.
