XO Vox Box

I recently received the XO Vox Box from Influenster.  I couldn't wait to get it in and see what was inside (even though I already saw on Instagram). Inside my box, I received Tide PODS with Febreze, a Colgate Optic White toothbrush and toothpaste, John Frieda Beach Blonde collection, John Frieda 7 Day Volume, SkinFix hand cream, and a Lands' End coupon code. I'm glad I got the Beach Blonde shampoo, conditioner, and sea salt spray from John Frieda. The other option was Frizz-Ease and I already have greasy hair as it is.

Before I actually got my XO Vox Box, Influenster sent a coupon code for free lingerie set from Adore Me if you signed up for their VIP membership (which doesn't cost you anything AND their sets are cheaper!). They have so many cute sets to choose from - it was difficult! After I ordered mine, I realized they even have swimsuits!!! Once it gets closer to summer, I might take another look... :)

I absolutely LOVE the Colgate Optic White toothbrush because it comes with a built-in whitening pen. It's so easy to use and way more convenient than using whitening strips because you just apply it and go - no rinsing! The Optic White toothpaste is okay - it's not the greatest tasting. I definitely still prefer my regular toothpaste - Crest 3D White.

I've tried the Beach Blonde shampoo and conditioner. It has a minty smell, which I love. I haven't tried the 7 Day Volume hair treatment, but I hope it can do something with my extremely flat, boring hair. I'm waiting until it gets warmer to try the Beach Blonde sea salt spray.
I tested the Tide PODS, which are very convenient, but I think I'll stick to regular laundry detergent. I had to use two pods because my load was large, and even after using two, none of my clothes smelled like the detergent. When I pour regular detergent, my clothes always smell like whatever scent I used. The Tide PODS may be convenient because you don't have to pour or measure detergent, but I think liquid detergent leaves clothes smelling better, longer.

The SkinFix hand cream is probably my least favorite part of this box. I tried it once and it made my hands feel extremely greasy. Also, it is fragrance-free for people who have eczema and sensitive skin, but it smells awful. I think I'll stick to my Vaseline lotion.

*All products were received complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Tide PODS Plus Febreze

I received a 10-pack sample of Tide PODS Plus Febreze complimentary from Influenster for testing & review purposes.  While I love the convenience of Tide PODS, I would rather use regular liquid laundry detergent.  If you are washing a small load of clothes, one pod will suffice.  However, if you are washing a larger load, you need to use two pods.  In my opinion, pouring a cup of laundry detergent is just as easy as using Tide PODS.  I think Tide PODS are catered more towards college students, who would benefit  more from the convenience of the packaging.

Additionally, I was disappointed in the scent quality of these particular Tide PODS. I used two because I had a larger load and none of my clothes smelled like the Febreze scent after washing. I've used Tide liquid laundry detergent and I think it provides a longer lasting scent for your clothes.
